The Adelaide-class was designed and built before the Alliance restrictions on moving livestock became commonplace. The vessel was designed with a central hold for cattle and livestock, with four hatches at the ‘corners’ to facilitate on and off-loading. Pad-eyes in the deck and portable fencing allowed the hold to be rapidly converted to nearly any desired pen arrangement, or none at all.
Kuming Muquan (aka “Fate’s Bitch”) is an old ship, but tough. It’s design has now been utilized by her captain (Irene Valus) to haul human cargo.
